Australia Fresh to exhibit at three key international trade shows

This year Australia Fresh, the industry export market development program for fruits, nuts and vegetables, will exhibit at three key international trade shows in Hong Kong, China and Dubai, to further develop export opportunities in these key markets.

Designed to promote and increase the export and consumption of Australian horticultural products overseas, the Australia Fresh brand is a unifying symbols that communicates, adds value and strategically compliments individual industry export programs.

 Sam Lawrence Trade Manager Hort Innovation said, “Australian growers have a long standing reputation for producing some of the best produce in the world. We are known for its high standards in food safety and quality assurance systems.

“Australian Fresh supports the building and maintenance of commercial relationships by providing an avenue for horticulture exporters to profile their Australian produce, including sharing resources to create a larger, more unified presence in international markets”, he said.

Under the Australia Fresh brand, Hort Innovation undertakes export market development, trade shows and trade missions to build a globally competitive, unified, agile and profitable Australian horticulture industry through sustainable investment in high value and high growth export markets.

Strong links with the Australian horticulture industry enables Australia Fresh to place international buyers in contact with leading Australian growers, industry bodies and reliable exporters. Australia Fresh continues to keep the buyers up to date with information on what's in season, how the season is shaping up and industry news.

This year will see Australia Fresh attend Asia's leading trade show for the international fresh fruit and vegetable business, Asia Fruit Logistica in September in Hong Kong; the well-respected China Fruit & Vegetable Fair from 30 October to 1 November in Beijing; and the Middle East’s leading exhibition for the fresh produce business, the International Perishables Expo Middle East, WOP Dubai in November 2016.
